The Fine Print
This section is the business policies, terms, and conditions for the new scheduling software (Square).
The Fine Print applies to individual readings (not virtual party readings).
"The Fine Print" is divided into 5 sections (Payments, Scheduling, Time, Cancellations, Miscellaneous, and Disclaimer).
Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking. Never send payment ahead of booking.

In the case that you're scheduled on the front end (from my side or through the waitlist form), the appointment is held for you, to be secured by payment. Payment is due by 11:00 PM CT to avoid automated cancellation.

If you prefer to pay through PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or CashApp, instead of credit/debit card, please contact me.

For gift certificates, payment must be submitted before it's issued.

Prices are quoted in USD$ (United States Dollars).
Scheduling

Appointments are conducted/scheduled according to CENTRAL TIME unless it's automatically updated if your device settings permit that, or you can simply update the time zone manually when you book the appointment through the calendar.

Skype and Zoom readings are exclusively for clients located outside of the U.S.A. and for virtual party readings for those located anywhere in the world.
Reading Duration (Important)

Please be mindful that there is a client scheduled after your reading, and your reading is after the previous client. Sticking to your reading duration will be strictly adhered to. When we're near the end there's no ability to extend, not even by a minute, and unfortunately no time for "one last question". Please schedule a follow up reading for any additional burning questions you have. I tend to fill up quickly, but having space between readings is good. Keep in mind that under "Miscellaneous" below, your reading slot includes greetings and closings/hellos and goodbyes. Sorry if I have to abruptly close the reading, but it's not fair to make the next client wait.
Cancellations

Once scheduled and paid, if for any reason you have to cancel or reschedule, contact me as soon as you can.

For a cancelled appointment (i.e. you cancel your appointment ahead at any time with no reschedule within 30 days after the original appointment) you will receive a 50% refund as well as a -$5.00 processing fee. If you cancel at or after your appointment with no reschedule, there is no refund.

There is no charge for rescheduling an appointment. If you reschedule your cancelled appointment within 30 days of the original appointment, there is no fee.

If I call you at your scheduled time and you don't answer, I'll leave a voicemail and/or a text or email message. Please try to text or email back within 5 minutes of your appointment or your reading will have to be rescheduled. If you miss the rescheduled reading, your time and payment will be forfeited. No refund. No exceptions.

Missed appointments due to incorrect contact info is the responsibility of the person who submitted the info.

Failure to submit payment on time results in automated cancellation.

For virtual party readings (remote parties), your deposit is fully refundable (minus a $5.00 processing fee) so long you cancel 72 hours or more prior to your event, cancellations with less than 72 hours notice forfeit the deposit.
Miscellaneous

If you are within the USA and do not meet the requirements for a Zoom or Skype reading, your reading will be done by phone. Skype and Zoom readings are primarily for clients without a U.S. telephone number.

FOR CLIENTS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES: When booking a phone reading, you will be contacted by Skype or Zoom (non-video/n0-camera call) if you don't have a U.S. based number.

If you book a Skype reading, please send me a connection request through Skype after you pay. My Skype name is Kansas_City_Astrology_and_Tarot_LLC. I do not sent connection requests due to the sheer replications of names. If you arrange a Zoom meeting, I'll send a link shortly ahead of the reading to the booking email.

You must stay within your reading time. 30 minutes does not mean 31 minutes. Please book the appropriate amount of time. Sometimes we get to the answers ahead of end-time and we wrap up there rather than fill the remainder of time for the sake of filling it. Part of what you pay for is content. Less is more and you can always book later, for using up time as filler is of no benefit to your reading.

Sorry, I can't book less than 15 minutes for "only one question". It's never just one question because I give such insight that more questions are always asked. If you have only one question please book 15 minutes.

Being on the waitlist does not guarantee an earlier appointment. Please remember to confirm your waitlist request on your phone anytime you join the waitlist to assure you get notified immediately if a spot opens. If you don't confirm, it's treated like Spam and the appointment system can't reach out to you for booking openings.

OMG, it's been over two weeks and I STILL feel the afterglow of the eclipse!

As soon as the eclipse totality passed in Buffalo, NY, I heard from almost all of you who travelled to where to go for the eclipse according to your personal astrology chart. Thank you, thank you, thank you for thinking of me and being mindful of the eclipse totality in my location! The magic is real! I have to say, I am really charged.
General:
Life is changing - evolving - is the word I prefer. I'm ever so busy and I love it! I'm not just busy with readings, software, media, and classes, but also personal developments. This business will be 9 years old soon. It's continuing to expand so once everything is in place I will adapt the business format to accommodate the expansion. The variety of spin-offs from doing readings is really something I enjoy and I'm proud of. With all that, my availability will fluctuate. I enjoy doing readings though, for there is zen when you get accurate information and insight about your current circumstances and future.
Since there aren't enough hours in a day, I've opened up very early morning readings, some as early as 6:00 AM Central Time. I did this during the pandemic lockdown and it worked so well. I shouldn't have been surprised because Central Midwesterners are amazing at being ready at the crack of dawn! I get charged from sunrise so messages for you from the ethers is very fresh (this is coming from a night owl!) The alternative is that I do not offer readings for weeks until my schedule and circumstances shift.
For efficiency, I highly suggest you subscribe to my newsletter so I can notify you when I'm back from a block of time. Or you can visit my website periodically and if you find anything, book it immediately if it suits you.

In other news, I'm also going to teach AstroMapping for the Beginner through Kepler College.
It begins on Saturday, May 11, 2024 on Zoom from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT for 5 weeks.
As an intro class, you'll learn the components of AstroMapping, the difference between Compass Astrology & Astro*Carto*Graphy and when, how, and where to use them, general planetary conditions and how planetary energies in AstroMapping blends natal and mundane into its own interpretation, and Remote Activation for the armchair traveler (the ability to gain benefits of your planets from anywhere in the world).

The solar eclipse was amazing! I admit I was really emotional and awe struck.

How is it already April?!
I'm sooooooooooooooo excited about the upcoming TOTAL solar eclipse on April 8, 2024!
I will be on a pilgrimage to my birth town to view it (cloudless skies permitting!)
and see family and friends a few days before and after.
