The Sun enters Libra on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 3:20 A.M. CDT. That date is also the autumn equinox, which is very fitting for Libra being represented by the scales.
Like scales in equilibrium, Libras prefer to be balanced. Being a sign that is outgoing and personable, they easily tune into how people releate to each other. Also like the scales, they do best when equally paired.
Ruled by Venus, the planet of love, peace, and harmony, Libras are very interested in others for partnership - be it in business, love, or even while shopping. Everything that's done together is what makes Libras happy.
Libras love their indulgences and comforts. They have a high respect for knowledge and thus have a unique love for books, flowers, chocolates, sweets, social grace, perfumes, colors that pair well. In an aesthetically unpleasing environment, they could become distressed, sometimes not realizing the source of distress.
One of the most outstanding qualities of the Libra is fairess. Sometimes others interpret this as being indecisive. This is not accurate of the Libra's traits. They are just looking at the full picture to make the most informed decision that's best for everyone.
As a cardinal sign, Libra's like to be in charge of the decisions they make and not be swayed. Nonetheless, because they dislike confrontation and conflict, they always find a way to be tactful and charming.
Libras are known to be one of the handsomer of the signs, one of the gifts from Venus. They are aware of this but do not exploit it. They use their abilities to be great judges, lawyers, cosmetologists, interior decorators, confectionary makers... On that sweet note, it's difficult to dislike a Libra.

During this time of year (Sep. 23 - Oct 23), we are graced with the energies that Libra brings our way. We have the chance to see that not everything is as cut and dry as they appear and to understand that life is multi-faceted. It's also a good time for rearranging furniture, changing the color of the walls, update decor, and get things in order. It's at this time that is better to have Halloween candies and costumes all ready in time for festivities.
